Shaping Session Starter

Shape an idea into a Shape Up pitch in 5 steps: problem, shapes, comparison, breadboard, and pitch

Help me shape this product initiative into a Shape Up pitch. Work through these steps:

1. Problem Definition
- Who is affected?
- What pain do they feel?
- What breaks today?
- Why now?

2. Generate 2-3 Solution Shapes
For each shape include:
- One-sentence summary
- How it works (high-level)
- What it costs (complexity, risk, time)
- Where it breaks (edge cases, limitations)

3. Compare and Choose
- Create a comparison table
- Pick the best shape based on risk, reversibility, and sliceability

4. Define Boundaries
- Goal: what outcome are we creating?
- Non-goals: what are we NOT doing?
- Constraints: timeline, tech, stakeholders
- Appetite: t-shirt/pizza size

5. Turn into a Pitch
- TL;DR (1-2 sentences)
- Problem summary
- Appetite
- The chosen solution
- Rabbit holes (risks/complications)
- No-gos (explicit boundaries)
- Done when (success criteria)
